There is a productivity suite provided to teachers [link], and a suite that is provided to administrators and support staff. There is no software review cycle in place. We are currently dependent on an alumnus to supply Microsoft Office licenses for teachers and student use. We need to investigate other means of ensuring software licenses are maintained and upgraded on a regular basis, or we need to find open-source software to use.
Recommendations

1. We should evaluate and analyze our needs, then investigate shareware, open-source software, and online resources.
2. We should investigate online applications such as Google Docs and Calendars.
3. We need to evaluate the needs of specialty classes such as music, art, theater production, ESOL, and modern languages, early childhood to ensure that they have adequate software for their educational needs.
