Projects 4-6: Scored Discussions & Position Paper

Project 4: Scored Discussion

You will be assigned to a group of about 6 students

You will receive an article to read and discuss
- Graded Discussion group 1: April 6 (Harmeet, Alice, Moeko, Sophie, Ji Hyun, Keita)

Graded Discussion group 2: April 7 (Connie, Daniel L., Alex, Sami, Hiroki, Deepak)

Graded Discussion group 3: April 9 (Suvan, Julie, Oat, Daniel W., Selina, Sayaka)

You will submit notes from your reading, which will be scored, and which you will have with you during your discussion
- Notes due: March 19

Together you will hold a 15 -20minute discussion of your controversial topic
- Group 1: April 6
- Group 2: April 7
- Group 3: April 9

Because you will write a comparitive ICE in Unit 6 for your topic and other groups' topics, you must listen and take notes during other groups' discussions

You will be evaluated on your notes and both your participation in your group`s discussion and your behavior during other groups` discussions
