Click on "Create a user password". Follow the directions for creating a user profile. Be sure to make a note of the password that you enter, so you will be able to get back into turnitin.com on other occasions. Indicate that you are a student user. Read the agreement statement. Indicate that you agree. At the next window, click on start class enrollment wizard.
In the Class enrollment wizard, you will enter the ID number and password for you class. Ask your teacher for this information. In the next window, click on end wizard and go to login page.
You should now be back at the starting page for turnitin.com. Enter your email address and the password you created for turnitin.com at the top of the page, then click on Log In.
In the next window, if you do not see the same of the class, you will have to click on enroll in a class on the left side of the screen. To enroll in a class you will need the class number and password. Ask your teacher for this information.
When you see the name of the class listed under the list of classes, click on the link for the class.
In the next window click on the word submit beside the correct assignment title.
At the top of the next window, click on file upload and drag down to cut and paste. Go to your word processed document, select and copy the text you want to submit. Go back to the turnitin.com window, and in the text window paste the text to be submitted. Enter a title for the submission. Then click on submit.
When your paper has been submitted, the next screen will show you the paper id number. Make a note of this paper, as proof that you submitted a paper.
Now, log out of turnitin.com by clicking on the Log Out button at the top of the screen.
